Ooooh, pretty! I got almost all the way around round 2 only to run out of thread on the last motif....trying to go as far as I can without breaking my ball thread, but I think I'm going to have to for the last 2 rings. Then I can start on round 3.

I'm in and up-to-date, having been inspired by IdahoCanuck's gorgeous rendition.

Looking forward to the next part. Wonder what strange colour I will add to this... : ))

It looks Great Fox! I love how you changed the colors up and the yellow flowers really show off the red diamonds. :)

Loving the different color combinations by everyone. A lilac bush and now spinning circles/wheels.

It was all due to that beautiful lilac bush that inspired the raspberry custard!!

I don't know if anybody has already written it down, but Renulek only shares the pattern as a pic with stitch notation.

It's amazing how color can change the appearance of the design. Very interesting.

That's how I would try it:

First tat the inner rings (7-2-7) and chains (6-6). Joining the rings to each other.
Then go around another time doing the chain (15),
then one ring with shuttle 1 (2-2-2-2-2-2) and the other ring with shuttle 2 (3-3+3-3), joining to the picot of the inner chain.
Then make the second half of the chain (15) and join between the inner chains.

Another idea someone?

That's how I would do it too Anke.... 2 rounds in a single pass joining to the doily with the last round.

Which round is this for?

LaurieE, this is for round #5... If you go to the link it will take you to Renulek's blog... There are 2 pictures... 1. Shows the stitch count for these little snowflakes, & 2. Shows you how they connect to the doily.
