I did them in a redish pink variegated thread. Love it so cute. Tatted up just fine, pattern was very sensible and easy to understand. lovely job!..Intatters Attachment no longer available....Intatters Attachment no longer available....Intatters Attachment no longer available..
Thank you so much corretta for giving them a try!! I was unable to use the link you gave but they must be cute in that color :) I am so glad that the pattern was easy to follow. It makes me very happy to be able to share my little pattern with everyone. Hugs
Very cute and I know an owl collector who will just love these. Thank you so much for sharing the pattern!
I don't know why my pictures aren't linking. How irritating. It shows them right after I post it... here is a blog post that has them for all those interested in seeing how my set turned out.

These little owls are so adorable. They would make cute gifts for a nature lover.

I made a few modifications to Tattabugg's pattern for use as a Tattie. I use 10 thread since Tatties need to be a certain size and stability and weight. I am so thrilled that she posted this pattern since just days before I was thinking I was going to have to come up with a less involved owl pattern for Tatties. Owls are currently the thing. My changes are quite minor but they are as follows:
R: 4 p sep by 2ds close ring and rw
ch: 1ds ----- 5 ds -- 9ds LOCKJOIN to first picot of ring, continue with chain 2ds ----
1ds --- 1ds -- 1ds - 6ds - 1ds -- 1ds - 4ds - 1ds -- 1ds - 6ds - 1ds
-- 1ds --- 1ds ---- 2ds LOCKJOIN to 2nd picot of ring 9ds -- 5ds + to base of ring cut,
tie and hide ends
Thanks again Barbara, I love it, and so do all who have seen them since I tatted them up!
Tattabug - loved these cute earrings - thank you for sharing your first pattern with us.
